RFTW 2009 Day 7 Meridian MS to Chattanooga TN
298 miles today and uneventful. Last year we ran into hail and it was ugly. Still enjoying temps in the 70's and clear blue skies.

- Born in a neighboring state mid last century. Grew up in southern Minnesota and became an adult in northern Minnesota. Undergrad work began at University of South Vietnam (II Cor 1:8-11) and was graduated from Winona State and worked as a librarian for 27 years and a middle school geography/U.S. History teacher for 7 years. Born in the USA. On air volunteer since 96-97. Got started as one of the hosts of The Vets' Show. Two time KAXE Volunteer of the Year. Also a KAXE Board member and serves as the treasurer. Turn your radio on. Proud grandfather of Shauntel, Alexis, MicKenzy, and "Lil DJ". Proud father of Josh and Jeanna. All are members of Kaxe and have been on air. The grandkids are the future of KAXE and they are being prepared to carry on. Teach your children well. Besides KAXE, avid motorcyclist, street rodder and currently building a 61 Ford pickup for nostalgia drag racing. Born to be wild. Ripppppp the knob off and stay tuned.
